BackupEDGE 3.0 Web Services Interface
In prior releases it was necessary to copy files to the remote users's desktop in order to use the web services interface. This has been changed.
To access web services they must still be enabled under EDGMENU - Configure BackupEDGE - Configure BackupEDGE Web Interface.
Then simply browse to the server using https://server_name:3946.
Port 3946 is the designated Microlite port.
The Web Services interface does not require Java on the server, but it is required to be a browser plug-in for the desktop broswer used to access the interface.
The web interface final colors may change, but this is the current new look:
